Internet Sales Policy

REALM Authorized Dealers have made a commitment to provide the quality advice and service required to get the best performance from REALM products. With all REALM products, system design, installation advice and service is key, we encourage you to support your local REALM Authorized Dealer. Always look for the REALM Authorized Dealer plaque at your local dealer. You may also search our Dealer Finder to locate your local dealer.

We do not authorize REALM products to be sold on any internet website at any time.

REALM products purchased from unauthorized sources carry no warranty from REALM, regardless of any claims made by the seller. We have no way of determining whether these products are used, refurbished, counterfeit, stolen or otherwise compromised.

Warranty Policy

The following is not covered under the REALM warranty program:

1. REALM Product with altered or removed serial numbers

2. REALM product not owned by the original purchaser from an authorized REALM dealer. (The warranty is not transferable and will not apply to products purchased from unauthorized dealers.)

3. REALM product that has been physically damaged or abused

4. REALM Loudspeaker product that has been over-powered, causing thermal (burnt voice coil) and/or mechanical failure (torn surrounds or spiders).

5. REALM product that has not been installed according to the included instructions.

6. REALM product in which modifications or repairs have been attempted by an unauthorized facility.

7. REALM product damaged cosmetically due to improper handling or normal wear and tear.

8. Installation and shipping fees associated with removing, re-installing or shipping the product to REALM for warranty service

Warranty Terms

(Effective January 1, 2007)

REALM products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the following terms:

Low Frequency Transducers: Two (2) Years
Loudspeakers: Two (2) Years
Amplifiers: Three (3) Years

Original Sales Receipts are required for all warranty claims!

All warranty service requires original sales receipt documentation. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser from an authorized retailer.

International Warranties

Products purchased outside the United States of America are covered only by that country’s distributor and not by REALM

If You Need Service On Your REALM Products

All warranty returns should be sent to REALM freight prepaid through a REALM Authorized Dealer and must be accompanied by proof of purchase (a copy of the original sales receipt.) Direct returns from consumers or non-authorized dealers will be refused unless specifically authorized by REALM with a valid return authorization number. Warranty expiration on products returned without proof of purchase will be determined from the manufacturing date code. Coverage may be invalidated as this date is previous to purchase date. Return only defective components. Non-defective items received will be returned freight-collect. Customer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance in sending the product to REALM. Freight damage on returns is not covered under warranty. Always include sales receipt with returns.
